When we say worship some say music, some say prayer, some say loud and energetic, some say quiet and contemplative. Worship is a word loaded with many definitions depending on who is talking. Regardless of style preference worship is directed to one source- our heavenly Father. The goal of the worship team at Grace Christian Fellowship is to point to God our Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and to the Holy Spirit our Comforter.
The musical style of GCF’s corporate worship is contemporary using songs from Hillsong, Desperation, Kari Jobe, Chris Tomlin, Lincoln Brewster, Newsboys, Paul Baloche and others, with some songs written in house. We use a full band and vocal praise team to lead the congregation to that place of worship. Each Sunday communion is available in the side wing of the sanctuary for people to use as part of their worship time.
The Bible tells us in John 4:23 “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” Our prayer is that the Father will find himself very comfortable and blest in the middle of our worship at GCF.
